Won’t be attending the Tribeca Film Festival in New York this year, but just happen to love a good flick? DIRECTV subscribers will get an exclusive look at six of the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival movie selections, available for a limited time on DIRECTV CINEMA on demand from the comfort of home. Four of the six movies have already been available on demand beginning April 20 and can be viewed through May 5, they include: The Bang Bang Club, Last Night, NEDS and The Bleeding House. Two more films will be available to DIRECTV subscribers before their theatrical release: The High Cost of Living and Brother’s Justice, plus all six films can be rented on demand until June 23. DIRECTV subscribers will be able to watch these titles before other movie buffs can head to their local RedBox or stream them through a Netflix account.
The selection of Tribeca Film Festival titles on DIRECTV on demand can be rented for as low as $6.99 and will be available in standard definition viewing on channel 183 and also in DIRECTV HD on channel 150.
